This blanket is a great project for the intermediate crocheter, who wants to branch out and try a few new stitch patterns, without the hassle of having to join together dozens of squares in a panel style blanket. (You can crochet this entire blanket, without ever having to break the yarn!)

The main body of the blanket is worked in the same stitch pattern all the way through, with a single row of cluster stitches on either end. Then, stitches are worked around all four edges to create a continuous border, utilizing a double crochet cluster stitch to create the decorative edging. This blanket could be easily sized up to create an adult size throw, or bedspread.
