This one of my favorite "ingredient" yarns that we use when we make many of our house blends -- it pairs wonderfully with everything from regular wool, to bamboo, to alpaca. But because it's fairly thick (as far as our ingredient yarns go), it's also perfectly functional to use on its own, as a simple sport weight yarn. A combination of merino wool and brushed mohair, this yarn is wonderfully soft, ever-so-slightly slubby, and with beautiful flecks of tweed spun throughout which gives the finished fabric a wonderful visual texture. We carry this yarn in all the gorgeous colorways you see listed here, and we have it wound up here on 4-ounce cones, which is the perfect amount for a hat, or a couple pairs of gloves. For scarves or larger projects like sweaters, feel free to check in with us using the chat feature at the bottom of the screen for recommendations about how many cones to order.
